What can you use the ARNTZ 431 SPRINT-PLUS for?
This saw blade is suitable for a large number of materials and profiles, including thick-walled structural profiles, light- to medium-walled materials, short-chipping materials, and sheet metal on vertical band saw machines. Furthermore, the specially designed tooth shape ensures a high-quality cut, smooth chip removal, and stable sawing behavior.
Tooth geometry tailored to the pitch
A striking feature of the 431 SPRINT-PLUS is that the rake angle is determined entirely by the tooth pitch. This is not a coincidence—it is a deliberate technical choice.
For coarse and medium pitches (0.75/1.25, 1.4/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/6), a 10° rake angle is applied. This ensures stable and straight cutting for larger cross-sections.
For finer pitches (5/8, 6/10, 8/12, 10/14, 14, 18), a 0° rake angle is used, which is ideal for fast and efficient cutting of thin- to medium-walled profiles.
