Welding machine operator

Van Maele Benelux is a family-owned wholesaler of tools and machines for metalworking. Due to the successful growth of our sales activities, we have established a welding center for our band saw business. We are looking for a motivated part-time welder (m/f) to weld custom band saws in our completely new machinery park.
Your role: A workday at Van Maele Benelux is always challenging. You are responsible for the smooth operation of the welding center. This includes cutting the band saw coils to the desired length using an automated measuring system, after which they need to be welded. Of course, you will receive full in-house training for this. Monitoring the coil inventory is also required, and you will also lend a hand in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- You work in a completely new, state-of-the-art welding center.
- You will receive in-house training to develop the necessary skills.
- You contribute to a stable and dynamic family business with a long-term vision.
- You work part-time (16 to 20 hours per week) spread over 4 days, with flexible hours by agreement.
Required
- You are motivated and reliable.
- You can work independently and accurately.
- You have an eye for quality and detail.
Nice to have
- Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Affinity with welding or metalworking is an asset, but not a must.
